For this budget (and by Singaporean standards), this hotel is GREAT. I was very happy that I booked The Clover instead of the somewhat cheaper option in Geylang. The location is FANTASTIC. Unbeatable. So close to Boat Quay and Clark Quay, many hawkers centers, business district. We walked everywhere and enjoyed it a lot❤️ The room doesn’t have windows, so it is pretty quiet, but you‘ll hear your neighbors if they are not considerate enough. There is zero noise from a party area nearby in Boat Quay or any kind of construction (this is for August 2024). The bed is super comfortable, not as hard as often in SE Asia. Surprisingly, there were zero mosquitoes during my 4 nights stay (and I kept the door open for a bit for better ventilation). Staff is very friendly. In my room, there were two tiniest geckos. I had zero problems with them, maybe, they ate all the mozzies 😁

I'll start with the obvious, the room was small, but that's what you get when you're on a budget in singapore and dont want a pod or Hostel! BUT it still had space for a double bed, separate shower and toilet, plus space to store both of our very large backpacks. It was also gorgeously decorated, very clean and had fantasticly efficient air-conditioning. Staff were really friendly and the hotel is in a good location, about 10 minutes walk to Chinatown (a must in singapore), probably about 30 to 40 minutes walk to marina bay, or less than 10 minutes from two underground lines which can take you around the city. Also a couple of minutes walk from Boat Quay where you will find a tonne of restaurants, all of whom have happy hours seemingly all night and from the quayside you have a good view of the singapore skyline.

Price per value in my opinion is 10 out of 10. The room will be on the smaller side but it's clean and comfortable and enough if you do not plan to leisurely stay in the hotel. The location is a very good one because you have an MRT station right next to you. But it's also walkable two night scene and eating out place like Clark Quay and Boat Quay, this will take you only 3 minute walking. A little further but within 5 to 10 minutes depending on how fast your pace is will be Chinatown. So in my opinion this is a great place to stay especially if you come in a group where everyone might want to wander around on their own. The national museum and also peranagan museum is also nearby. You could walk or easily call grab within $10. the staff are all very polite, cheerful and helpful.

From the very start of our stay, including booking everything was great. The initial contact I had with the hotel was prompt and concise. When we got to the hotel at 10.00 pm the reception lady was really friendly and helpful. She was able to fix up our wifi issue straight away. The room was comfy and the bed was great. We thought that they room was very good. It was smallish but it still had enough room for three adults. I noticed that quite a number of reviews commenting on the size of the room.....They should stay in Europe!! The shower pressure was great and made our day after walking around Singapore. The AC was cool and it wasn't noisy.

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel in this part of town, near Boat Quay, and Hotel Clover the Arts fit the bill. The hotel is a short walk from the metro/subway, and in a very central location. There are lots of restaurants and shops within a short walk of the hotel. It's quite a lively area, though we didn't find it noisy at night. The room was compact, but big enough for me and my son. It was cleaned daily to a high standard, and fresh bottles of water and tea/coffee were given each day. The staff were friendly and helpful, though we didn't need to interact with them much.
